An adventure spanning 5000 years of Dominican history.
You play as Pepito or Pepita, a 14-year-old with Taíno, Spanish and African ancestry. One day, while walking through a construction site in Santo Domingo, you discover a mysterious relic glowing with a strange light. When you touch it, the ground gives way beneath your feet and you fall into the Cuevas del Pomier — a real cave system with thousands of Taíno petroglyphs.
Thus begins your adventure as an accidental archaeologist. With the help of three companions — a digging robot, a stray dog and a cemí spirit — you will travel through worlds spanning from Taíno settlements to the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo, facing conflicts between modern development and heritage preservation.
Not everything is solved by fighting. Inspired by Undertale, the game offers a full pacifist route: you can convince your adversaries through dialogue, negotiation and civic activism. Every conflict has a solution that does not require violence.
The game follows a linear progression: each world unlocks upon completing the previous one, like Super Mario World. The player moves with a sprite across the map of the island of Hispaniola and activates nodes by approaching them. The worlds are designed to be played in order — each one teaches concepts that prepare the player for the next. Some nodes (such as Lago Enriquillo or LFSD) unlock when specific side quests are completed.
